Our destination is GUILIN. Guilin is famous for its mountains and rivers. It's a city we are looking forward to being there so long. We all fell excited.

We departed from XIAMEN airport and landed on GUILIN airport at night. It was cloudy so we didn't see very beautiful night views from plane. When we landed in Guilin. It was raining and very cold outside. We rushed to the traveling bus. The driver and the tour guide were very warm-hearted. Guilin has many national minorities. The tour guide is the zhuang ethnic minority well known for its beautiful sings. After introduction the tour schedule, she sang a very beautiful local welcome song. Thanks to her, we enjoy a great song. About 1 hour later, we arrived on hotel and had rest.

First day morning, we went to a famous scenic spot-elephant nose mountain, located in the north of Guilin. It was very beautiful part surrounded by small mountains and rivers flow by the mountain. Very peace and quiet and let you relax from busy working life. And then we had a local cuisine. In the afternoon, we went to enjoy a wonderful minorities show and learn some culture of these minorities. We live in the same country but we have very different culture. Very wonderful experience. In the night, we walk on a very famous street-west street enjoy local street food and music bars.

Second day, we visited a small Dong village. Dong is also a minority well known for its handcrafts. They are good at making silver crafts. We saw a lot of silver crafts like comb, bracelet, earrings, rings, necklaces and other beautiful accessories. One of the most interesting thing is that the women's social class is higher than the men. Women are the main workforce and the men stay at home caring children. We learn a lot of dong taboo and lifestyle. In the afternoon, we took a ship to enjoy beautiful nature scenery by Lijiang river. At night, we enjoyed a great show Impression San Jie lIU

Last day, we visited the highest mountain in Guilin and another local scenic spot. We had a great buffet there. After lanch, we went to the supermarket and buy some special local products to our family and friends. At night, we departed Guilin and went home.
